Gubler Family: Fast and Fabulous Fun!

My Sister Bethany and her family came up to Spokane for a weekend in August. While they were here they wanted to go camping and to Silverwood. So, we decided if we wanted to see them, we better go with them! :) Since the calendar changed to August my girls were counting down the days until their cousins would be here. Camping spots were booked everywhere it seemed so we weren't too sure where we would camp. Uncle Travis spoke to a ranger in Coeur d' Alene and they found a campground in Hayden Lake, Camp Machin (I think is what the name was). It was a long and windy drive but we were happy to have a spot together and it was beautiful too.

Friday morning we all packed up and headed to Silverwood for the day. We got in cheap thanks to Aunt Marian and the day care group rates she got for us. Thanks Mar! Alice went off with her older cousins which was a big leap for mom (cutting apron strings is not my favorite thing) and she loved the freedom she felt. She rode all of the roller coasters this year! I am shocked because she was afraid to step off of the curb as a toddler. Mary rode one too and afterwards said to her dad, "Okay, I don't ever want to ride one of those again!". It was a fun day and it was sad to see it end.

We headed back home Saturday and relaxed and went to bed early. We were so happy to spend some more time with the Webb-Vergara family. We love you guys!
