Our Alice has been growing her hair for about a year now and last month decided it was time to cut it. She had planned to donate her hair to Locks of Love to benefit cancer patients after hearing about a friend of hers doing the same. She says it felt weird to get it cut but good to give it away knowing someone can use it.

Earlier this summer, towards the end of the school year, Alice was given a North Star Award. She was awarded for consistently demonstrating Compassion in her classroom and school. She was recognized by her teacher Mr. Williams in front of parents, teachers and peers in the first and second grades at her school. Good job Alice!
