Finally Blogging!

Well, we have entered into the blogging world! I'm hoping that this will be a better way to organize and share our family photos and experiences with our family and friends. Our family picture was taken on the front porch of the Frederickson's home in Walla Walla. We were able to visit the end of April and be witnesses to our nephew Magnus's baptism. It was fun being with family and celebrating a special day with Magnus. So, here are some tidbits about each of us: Shelden is working at Safeco and looking forward to going back to college this year! He will be working towards earning an MBA at Eastern University. Dylan will be turning 17 soon! He is finishing up his junior year at University High School and is earning the highest grades of his schooling so far. He has re-injured his ankle recently and is hoping for a complete recovery so that he can enjoy some upcoming summer events such as the Youth Trek and hopefully a summer job! Alice is our oldest daughter at 8 years old. She has just finished up playing soccer with a new team this spring. She missed her old coach Brian but was happy with her new coach Dylan (not her brother) and her new team mates as well. She was excited to learn that one of her best friends Katie was on the team too! Mary is soon to be 7 and is our sweetheart. She is definitely the peacemaker in our home (most of the time). She also finished playing soccer and is looking forward to joining a new team next year with some of her best friends! She is always creating new things. Recently she decided she wanted to make a duct tape wallet. We looked up the directions on line and she noticed she could learn how to make a purse as well! That was a fun craft day. Annie is our happy 4 year old. She is home with mom and is a complete joy to have around. She keeps very busy playing and pretending. She makes friends wherever she goes as she is not afraid to strike up a conversation with anyone. We meet people all over town! She always leaves people smiling. I am busy keeping up on the house projects. We are painting our home this year and are working hard on the massive amounts of prep work! I'm also excited to start gardening again soon. I love teaching piano and am looking forward to the recital coming up.
